Operations Manager - vendor management (Chicago, IL)

Redstone Bridge Energy Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
