Operations Manager - vendor management (Charlotte, NC)

Silverline Yarrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Charlotte. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
