Operations Manager - vendor management (Charlotte, NC)

Clearpath Meridian Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
