Operations Manager - vendor management (Charlotte, NC)

Ironwood Cobalt Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
