Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Stonegate Summit Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Charleston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
