Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Bluepeak Lakeside Transit Planning Partners helps transport agencies around Charleston design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 758 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
