Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Summit Linden Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
