Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Clearpath Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
