Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Keystone Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
