Operations Manager - vendor management (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Forge Inspection Services Partners is an inspection company in Charleston with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
