Operations Manager - vendor management (Buffalo, NY)

Silverline Drift Foods Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications.
