Operations Manager - vendor management (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Iron Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 457 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
