Operations Manager - vendor management (Buffalo, NY)

Stonegate Works is an agricultural business based around Buffalo. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
