Operations Manager - vendor management (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lakeside Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
