Operations Manager - vendor management (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Cross Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Boston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Boston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
