Operations Manager - vendor management (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vale Water Authority Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
