Operations Manager - vendor management (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
