Operations Manager - vendor management (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Timber Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with vehicle inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
