Operations Manager - vendor management (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Redstone Juniper Inspection Services Partners and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 130 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
