Operations Manager - vendor management (Baltimore, MD)

Westbrook Hollow Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 533 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
