Operations Manager - vendor management (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Birch Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 996 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
