Operations Manager - vendor management (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Partners operates treatment plants and pipelines around Baltimore, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for billing accounts and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
