Operations Manager - vendor management (Baltimore, MD)

Nova Amber Construction is a Baltimore contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
