Operations Manager - vendor management (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Redstone Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
