Operations Manager - vendor management (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Quarry Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 632 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
