Operations Manager - vendor management (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Bridge Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
