Operations Manager - vendor management (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Quill Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
