Operations Manager - vendor management (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Mill Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
