Operations Manager - vendor management (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Quarry Energy is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on vendor management for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 604 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
