Operations Manager - vendor management (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Quarry Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Anchorage region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
