Operations Manager - vendor management (Albuquerque, NM)

Fernwood Harbor Freight is a Albuquerque logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a large organisation of about 332 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
