Operations Manager - vendor management (Albuquerque, NM)

Stonegate Orchard Freight is a Albuquerque logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
