Operations Manager - vendor management (Albuquerque, NM)

Clearpath Junction Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Albuquerque. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
