Operations Manager - vendor management (Albuquerque, NM)

Fernwood Harbor Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Albuquerque design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
