Operations Manager - vendor management (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Corner Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Albuquerque, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our vendor management. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
