Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Nova Juniper Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 147 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
