Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Wichita, KS)

Nova Juniper Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
