Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Wichita, KS)

Bluepeak Wren Foods Group is a Wichita food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 875 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
