Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services is an inspection company in Virginia Beach with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
