Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Amber Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
