Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Tampa, FL)

Harborlight Yarrow Foods Partners produces packaged foods at its Tampa plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
