Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Spokane, WA)

Bright Juniper Farms Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for packing house output, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
