Operations Manager - throughput and quality (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Orchard Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Jose, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
