Operations Manager - throughput and quality (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Summit Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 883 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders.
