Operations Manager - throughput and quality (San Antonio, TX)

Westbrook Stone Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in San Antonio with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
