Operations Manager - throughput and quality (San Antonio, TX)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
