Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Summit Logistics is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
