Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Clear Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
