Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Summit Corner Construction is a Salt Lake City contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 159 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
