Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Lumen Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
